Minirin Melt 60Mcg 30 Tablets

A medication used to reduce urine production by increasing water reabsorption in the kidneys.

Indications:
- Treatment of central diabetes insipidus.
- Treatment of primary nocturnal enuresis in patients aged 5 years and older.
- Treatment of nocturnal urination symptoms in adults.

Main Active Ingredients:
- Desmopressin.

Precautions:
- Limit fluid intake from 1 hour before administration until 8 hours after use to reduce the risk of water retention and hyponatremia.
- Use with caution in elderly patients due to increased risk of low blood sodium levels.
- Use with caution in patients with fluid or electrolyte imbalance.
- Consult a doctor before use in cases of bladder dysfunction or urinary obstruction.
Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy.
- Consult a doctor before use during breastfeeding, especially with high doses.

Side Effects:
- Headache.
- Low blood sodium levels.
- Dizziness.
- High blood pressure.
- Nausea.
- Abdominal pain.
- Diarrhea or constipation.
- Insomnia or excessive sleepiness.

Drug-Drug Interactions:
- Antidepressants, such as Fluoxetine, Sertraline, Paroxetine, and Amitriptyline.
- Antidiabetic medications, such as Insulin, Metformin, and glibenclamide.
- Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as Ibuprofen, Diclofenac, and Naproxen.
- Antidiarrheal agents, such as Loperamide.
